Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Snovai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Snovai. These terms apply to all users of the Snovai Chrome extension and associated web services.

2. Description of Service

Snovai is an AI-powered Chrome extension that connects to your ServiceNow instance via a read-only service account and provides platform knowledge, implementation guidance, and live instance queries. Snovai is provided as-is and may change at any time.

3. Account and Access

You must create an account to use Snovai. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or use Snovai to access instances you are not authorized to access. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Snovai only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. You must not use Snovai to access, query, or extract data from ServiceNow instances without proper authorization. You must not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or system prompts. You must not use Snovai to violate any applicable laws or regulations.

5. ServiceNow Instance Connection

Snovai requires a read-only service account to connect to your ServiceNow instance. You are responsible for creating and maintaining this service account with appropriate permissions. Snovai will only read data and cannot create, modify, or delete any records in your instance. You are responsible for ensuring your use of Snovai complies with your organization's policies and your ServiceNow license agreement.

6. AI-Generated Content

Snovai uses large language models to generate responses. These responses may occasionally be incorrect, incomplete, or outdated. You should verify any technical guidance, configuration steps, or code before implementing in a production environment. Snovai is a decision-support tool, not a replacement for professional judgment. We are not liable for any damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of Snovai is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. In summary: your ServiceNow credentials are encrypted and stored locally in your browser. Your instance data is processed by Anthropic Claude API under zero data retention terms. Your conversation history is stored in Supabase tied to your user ID. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

8. Intellectual Property

Snovai and all associated software, content, and trademarks are owned by Snovai and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on Snovai without our express written permission. ServiceNow is a registered trademark of ServiceNow, Inc. Snovai is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ServiceNow, Inc.

9. Beta Service

Snovai offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial period the Individual plan is $79 per month. We reserve the right to modify features or pricing at any time with reasonable notice.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Snovai is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snovai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Snovai interface. Your continued use of Snovai after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Illinois.
